Adult Fine Arts Classes
At Rose State, we pride ourselves on providing a rich assortment of educational opportunities to the public. The Community Learning Center (CLC) offers non-credit classes for all ages. These creative classes are available to all Rose State College students, faculty, staff, and the community. Classes are available for adults/seniors and are offered from 1 day to 16 week classes.

Watercolor/Mixed Media
Students will learn basic watercolor techniques through the use of step by step lessons. Projects utilizing additional mediums with watercolors such as pen and ink, oil pastels, colored pencils, tempera, and collage with also be explored.

Colored Pencil Explorations
Students will explore many foundational colored pencil techniques including surface choices, layering, blending, burnishing, impressed line, textures, and use of solvents. Step by step lessons will be included in the course to develop skills and confidence.

Sewing & Quilting
Whether you are a beginner or need to perfect more advanced skills, we provide the space, equipment, and atmosphere to expand your creativity and learn hands-on textile arts. Projects include a quilt among various other crafts. Beginner and advanced courses are available to meet you where you are.
