R.A.I.D.E.R. Exercise: Operation Alpha

Rapid Assessment and Innovation for Defense, Experimentation, and Readiness

Location: Rose State College, Midwest City, OK 73110
Date: April 23-24, 2026

The When

From April 23rd to 24th, 2026, Rose State College and the Tech Launch Center (Oklahoma Small Business Development Center) are hosting a coordinated technology exercise for their client innovators.

The What

During this exercise, technologists will operate their individual technologies within one shared, closed-loop scenario, demonstrating cross-system translational capabilities for each company. While a few select stakeholders have been invited, admittance has been capped at a very small number to maintain confidential integrity crucial to the success of early-adoption technologies. For those wishing to follow along and be updated on next steps, please utilize the email signup below.

The Why

This program provides the opportunity to measure success of individual client demonstrations against our event-specific, standardized rubric:

  1. How well their technology performs within the given rules

  2. What data they collect from the exercise

  3. Provides opportunity to collaborate with other technologists demonstrating at the same time

  4. How much their technology has improved since the last time they demonstrated (TRL).

These individual points allow the stakeholders and visitors to the event to develop informed decisions about how they feel about both the technologies and the innovators. This type of expectation management is crucial to securing next steps for all the participating clients, be it follow-on funding, contract opportunities, customer discovery and more.
